JIM FRASER TO RUN GOAL KEEPER ACADEMY
IN EASTERN SUBURBS

ESFA is delighted to announce, in conjunction with UNSW FC, that Jim Fraser’s International Goalkeeper Academy is now operating in the Eastern Suburbs at UNSW’s David Phillips Field.

Jim is an ex-Socceroo World Cup Goalkeeper and a UEFA and FFA Accredited High Performance Goal Keeper Coach. His International Goalkeepers Academy has been running for several years in western Sydney and we are delighted that we have been able to assist him to expand to the Eastern Suburbs.

The Monday Night sessions will be for “representative level” goal keepers including the ESFA Metro league Keepers (boys), Eastern UNSW Lions keepers for Women’s Super League and Girl’s Youth League and UNSW FC State League (men)  

Wednesday Night sessions are for Club Level Keepers in age specific groups. (See attached).  Club keepers who are at or near “Rep Level” may be invited to join Monday Night sessions.

This is a commercial academy from which ESFA is not seeking any financial return in order to keep costs as low as possible for participants.   Keepers joining the academy sign and pay directly to the academy.   Clubs are encouraged to see if they can assist their Goal Keepers with the additional costs of specialist keeper training.

ESFA is also talking independently with Jim about engaging his services to provide specialist Goal Keeper sessions in our School Holiday Clinics and specialist coaching sessions to assist all club coaches in providing coaching for their team goalkeepers.

Eastern UNSW Lions roar into action

This is the new name given to the joint venture club between the Eastern Suburbs Football Association and the University of NSW Football Club.

The Eastern UNSW Lions will be competing in the Football NSW Women’s Super League and Girls Super Youth League.
